Send the part drawing or sample details, media specification and quantity for a quotation covering manufacture, inspection and delivery.
Start with the part and quantity
Attach a dimensioned drawing with units and revision, or photographs with the dimensions of a reference sample. Include the sample quantity and expected repeat order. A part number helps connect the request to an existing specification.
Add the conditions that change the construction
For a filter element, include the fluid or gas, temperature, flow direction, differential pressure and cleaning method. For a support or cut screen, give the opening pattern, thickness and mating dimensions. State requested certificates and inspection before the quotation is prepared.

Quotation questions
Can you quote without a drawing?
Photographs, measured dimensions and an unused sample can establish an initial scope. Installation dimensions and the agreed part specification are needed before manufacture.
When are MOQ and lead time known?
They are stated in the quotation after material availability, cutting or forming route, tooling and batch size have been reviewed.
Should inspection documents be requested now?
Yes. Material traceability, a first article, dimensional reports and witnessed tests affect how the order is planned and should be included in the RFQ.
