Components for complete assemblies
Common enquiries include end caps, ferrules, threaded adapters, flanges, collars, retaining rings, perforated support cores, center tubes, handles, support grids, frames and gasket seats. Parts can be reviewed individually or as part of the complete filter drawing.
Define the interface first
For a replacement component, identify the mating diameter, thread or flange standard, sealing face, gasket position, insertion depth, flow direction and removal method. A photograph is useful, but measured interface dimensions or an equipment drawing are more reliable.
Material and joining considerations
The accessory material should be compatible with the filter media, joining process and service environment. State whether a joint is permanent or removable, whether the part is wetted, and whether surface condition or cleanliness is critical.
Replacement and repeat orders
Part numbers, drawing revisions and reference samples reduce ambiguity on repeat orders. If the existing part has failed, describe the failure location and operating history so the replacement is not based only on worn dimensions.
