By product form

By product form

Start with the installed shape and equipment interface.

Metal filter cartridges

Removable metal filter elements with pleated mesh, rigid sintered mesh or metal fiber felt. Choose the medium for retention and cleaning, then match the end connection, seal and load direction to the housing.

Filter cylinders and tubes

Filter cylinders and tubes

Woven-mesh sleeves, perforated support tubes and slotted screen cylinders for radial flow, internal support and equipment inserts. Diameter, seam construction and which surface carries pressure determine the right tube.

Filter discs and cut screens

Filter discs and cut screens

Flat wire-mesh discs, annular screens, edged inserts and cut profiles for compact seats, ports and screen holders. Select the opening and edge finish without sacrificing the usable area inside the seal.

Screen packs

Screen packs

Multilayer extruder screens with loose, spot-welded or rimmed edges. Round, annular and kidney-shaped packs combine a fine separation layer with support layers that fit the breaker plate or screen changer.

Strainer baskets

Strainer baskets

Removable mesh-lined, perforated and wedge-wire baskets for collecting debris in liquid systems. Size the working area, inlet seat and removal space together so the basket can be cleaned without bypass or damage.

Cone strainers

Cone strainers

Temporary conical and flat startup screens installed in pipelines to intercept construction debris before commissioning. Flange fit, installation length and differential-pressure monitoring are central to selection.

Filter cups and domed screens

Filter cups and domed screens

Formed mesh cups, domed screens and flanged inserts for compact inlet and nozzle protection. Depth adds surface area, while forming strain and the seating rim determine the usable shape.

Filter panels and framed screens

Filter panels and framed screens

Flat or curved mesh panels, perforated screens and framed inserts for installed screening surfaces. Span, frame stiffness, perimeter sealing and replacement access matter as much as aperture.

Demister pads and mesh blocks

Demister pads and mesh blocks

Knitted wire-mesh pads separate entrained liquid droplets from gas by impaction and coalescence. Pad density, gas velocity and drainage govern performance; a demister is not specified by a particle-filtration micron rating.

A closer look at Kaifil metal filtration components and manufacturing.

Why Kaifil

Manufacturing discipline for drawing-defined filter components

The filtering surface, support and installation interfaces share one approved manufacturing basis.

01

Drawing-based manufacturing

Parts are manufactured against approved drawings and agreed specifications.

02

Multiple metal filtration technologies

Wire mesh, perforated metal, sintered media, wedge wire and fabricated assemblies.

03

Prototype to repeat production

Sample, first-article and repeat-order arrangements are reviewed for the individual part.

04

Inspection to agreed requirements

Dimensions, media, assembly and documentation follow the confirmed order scope.

By media and technology

By media and technology

Compare the filtering surface, support and manufacturing route.

Filter media rolls and sheets

Woven wire cloth, sintered mesh sheets, fiber felt and perforated material supplied as rolls, strips or blanks for filter fabrication. Choose a media form that suits the intended cutting, joining and forming route.

Metal wire mesh

Metal wire mesh

Plain, twill, Dutch and reverse-Dutch wire cloth for screening and filter fabrication. Square aperture depends on mesh count and wire diameter; dense Dutch weaves require their own retention and permeability data.

View details
Wedge wire screens

Wedge wire screens

Continuous-slot panels, cylinders and baskets made from profile wire and supports. Slot width controls the opening; wire face, support spacing and flow direction determine area and structural behavior.

View details
Sintered metal filters and media

Sintered metal filters and media

Rigid sintered mesh laminates, porous metal discs, tubes and fiber-felt media for cleanable filtration components. Bonded mesh, powder pore networks and metal fiber felt have different retention, permeability and cleaning behavior.

View details
Perforated metal screens

Perforated metal screens

Punched sheets, support tubes and strainer parts with round, square or slotted holes. Hole diameter, pitch, thickness and solid margins balance open area against stiffness.

View details
Laser-perforated and slotted screens

Laser-perforated and slotted screens

Drawing-defined slotted sheets, cylinders and discs where hole placement or profile makes a standard punched pattern unsuitable. Aperture, thickness and edge quality must be assessed together for the selected cutting route.

View details
Etched and electroformed screens

Etched and electroformed screens

Thin etched-foil and electroformed screens for small apertures and patterned inserts. Etching removes metal from foil; electroforming deposits metal on a tool. Thickness, aperture profile and handling therefore differ.

Materials and alloys

Materials and alloys for filtration components

Compare common stainless steels and specialist alloys by corrosion exposure, welded construction and availability as wire, mesh, sheet or porous media.

A filtration component is more than its filter media.

We review the filtering surface, support structure, end connections, welds, edges, seals and installation interfaces as one manufactured component.

From requirement to finished part

Four stages connect the technical inputs, drawing approval and inspection requirements.

  1. 01

    Send drawing / sample

Share the current drawing or sample photographs, dimensions, quantity and service conditions.

  2. 02

    Engineering review

Review material, media, supports, interfaces, joints, tolerances and required checks.

  3. 03

    Sample or order confirmation

Agree the drawing revision, sample scope, quotation and acceptance requirements.

  4. 04

    Manufacture & inspect

Produce the components and complete the checks and documents specified in the order.

Common commercial questions

Practical answers before you send a drawing or request a quotation.

Can you manufacture from drawings or samples?

Yes. Send the current drawing when available. For an existing component, include photographs, dimensions and details of its installation interfaces. Missing inputs are clarified before quotation.

What information is needed for quotation?

Include the component form, material, dimensions, opening or filtration requirement, quantity and operating conditions. Drawings and sample photographs help establish the support, joining and fit requirements.

What materials can you manufacture?

Stainless steels and other specified alloys are reviewed against the selected mesh, perforated, wedge-wire or sintered construction. Availability and suitability are confirmed for the actual component and service conditions.

Can you provide samples or first articles?

Samples or first articles can be included in the quotation. State the quantity, critical checks and approval documents so the sample scope and production basis can be agreed.

What inspection documents can be supplied?

Material documents, dimensional records and inspection photographs can be arranged within the confirmed order scope. Specify the required records and any test method in the enquiry.

What determines MOQ and lead time?

Material availability, construction complexity, tooling, inspection and quantity affect the minimum order and schedule. Both are confirmed after the project requirements are reviewed.
