Solid Metal Disc Weight Calculator
Estimate the mass of a solid circular or annular metal sheet from its diameters, thickness and material density.
The estimate uses the area of the outer circle minus the area of the centre opening, multiplied by thickness and material density. Enter all dimensions in millimetres and density in grams per cubic centimetre.
This method applies to a solid sheet. It does not subtract perforations and does not include wire mesh, welded rims, support rings or other attached parts. Use the drawing or a measured sample for final shipping weight.
