Metal mesh screens for coatings and ink production
Cut mesh discs, lined baskets and cylindrical screens can protect pumps and downstream equipment in coating and ink processing when solvent compatibility and cleaning access are specified.
Contaminant and medium
Specify the particles to remove, viscosity, flow rate and allowable pressure drop. A woven screen aperture can be measured geometrically; a filtration rating still needs the agreed test basis.
Fit and cleaning
The filter disc or basket must seat without bypass around its edge. Consider solvent exposure, cleaning procedure, change frequency and whether a disposable screen pack or reusable rigid element is more appropriate.

Provide process and cleaning chemistry, the holder or basket drawing, mesh specification or target opening, edge construction, material grade, quantity and any packaging requirement for finished screens.
