Knitted mesh pads for industrial gas mist removal
Knitted metal mesh pads and segmented inserts separate entrained liquid droplets from gas streams when vessel geometry, gas loading and drainage are considered together.
Separation duty
Provide gas composition, operating pressure and temperature, gas flow, liquid loading and the droplet-removal requirement. Mesh density and pad depth cannot be selected reliably from vessel diameter alone.
Pad construction
Demister pads may be supplied as full discs or segments with support grids for installation through a manway. Material, thickness, support and drainage direction follow corrosion exposure and vessel internals.
Information for quotation
Send the vessel cross-section, support-grid drawing, manway limits, gas and liquid data, material grade, pad thickness and any carryover or pressure-drop target. Confirm how segments will be retained.
