By product form
Start with the installed shape and equipment interface.

All-metal filter cartridges in pleated wire mesh, sintered mesh, metal fibre felt and porous metal. Configurations include 2–840 µm stainless mesh cartridges in 4⅞–40 in nominal lengths with DOE, 222, 226 or threaded connections; high-temperature and higher-differential-pressure constructions are specified as separate designs.

Metal filter cylinders and tubes in woven mesh, perforated sheet, wedge wire or sintered media. A tube may be the filtering surface or a support core; specify diameter, length, end connections, opening and flow direction for each construction. Wedge-wire cylinders and rigid porous-metal cartridges are developed as separate product families.

Flat and formed-to-outline filter discs cut from woven mesh, sintered mesh, perforated sheet or precision foil. Build options include single-layer cut screens, spot-welded layers and edged discs; a documented multilayer mesh-disc family spans 10–580 mm diameter, 3–200 µm medium grades and 3–5 layers. Specify each medium and edge construction separately.

Replaceable metal screen packs for polymer-melt filtration, supplied as loose stacks, spot-welded packs, rimmed packs and diffusion-bonded elements. Specify the full layer sequence, diameter, wire and aperture, support and screen-changer interface; examples include 20/40/20 and 40/80/200/80/40 mesh assemblies.

Custom perforated, mesh-lined, wedge-wire and fabricated strainer baskets for process housings, equipment protection and replacement duty. Define the basket geometry, seating edge, opening, material and removal clearance from a drawing, sample or housing dimensions.
View details
Temporary perforated and optionally mesh-lined start-up screens for pipe flushing and commissioning. Select pointed cone, truncated cone or flat screen from flange fit, flow direction, debris allowance and the available spool length.
View details
Three-dimensional formed metal mesh components for ports, valve passages, suction inlets and compact housings. Choose deep-drawn cups, domed caps, flanged bowls or supported forms; documented compact examples include 10–20 mm bowl diameters at 6–10 mm depth and domes 16 mm OD by 8 mm deep. Larger envelopes are made to drawing.

Replaceable flat and curved screening surfaces in framed wire mesh, perforated metal, wedge wire or laser-slotted plate. Specify the opening, support and frame together with the deck size, load and installation interface.
View details
Knitted wire-mesh pads, segmented mist eliminators and compressed mesh blocks for gas–liquid separation. Select wire form, pad density, depth, support grid and drainage to suit gas velocity and liquid load; common design references include 100–300 kg/m³ mesh density and 100–150 mm pad depth.

Why Kaifil
The filtering surface, support and installation interfaces share one approved manufacturing basis.
Parts are manufactured against approved drawings and agreed specifications.
Wire mesh, perforated metal, sintered media, wedge wire and fabricated assemblies.
Sample, first-article and repeat-order arrangements are reviewed for the individual part.
Dimensions, media, assembly and documentation follow the confirmed order scope.
By media and technology
Compare the filtering surface, support and manufacturing route.

Metal filtration media supplied for conversion into discs, cylinders, cartridges and panels. Choose woven wire cloth, bonded sintered mesh or metal-fibre felt by its full grade and test basis, then specify roll, sheet or slit-strip dimensions.
View details
Woven stainless and special-alloy wire cloth supplied in plain, twill and Dutch constructions as rolls, sheets and cut blanks. Specify the full weave, wire diameters, clear opening and supply format; the same mesh count can produce different apertures.
View details
Continuous-slot screens built from profile wire and support members as panels, bends, cylinders and baskets. Slot width, profile, support spacing and flow direction are defined for the installed duty rather than inferred from one nominal rating.
View details
Rigid and cleanable sintered-metal media supplied as powder elements, diffusion-bonded mesh, metal-fibre felt, discs, tubes and plates. Selected sintered-mesh grades span 2–100 µm; porous-powder cartridge families include 3–50 µm examples. Specify filtration test basis, alloy, thickness, end fitting and sealing system for each medium.

Perforated plate screening surfaces and structural supports for panels, baskets, cones and filter cores. Hole size, pitch, pattern, ligament and plate thickness determine open area and load capacity together.

Kaifil manufactures laser-perforated and slotted metal screens as discs, flat panels, framed screens and tubes. Programmed aperture patterns combine filtration, flow distribution and mounting features in one component.
View details
Kaifil manufactures photo-etched stainless steel screens and electroformed nickel screens as flat foils, discs and patterned OEM components. Custom aperture fields, solid borders and mounting features are integrated into the finished outline.

We review the filtering surface, support structure, end connections, welds, edges, seals and installation interfaces as one manufactured component.

Four stages connect the technical inputs, drawing approval and inspection requirements.
Share the current drawing or sample photographs, dimensions, quantity and service conditions.
Review material, media, supports, interfaces, joints, tolerances and required checks.
Agree the drawing revision, sample scope, quotation and acceptance requirements.
Produce the components and complete the checks and documents specified in the order.
Prepare a clearer drawing, compare media constructions and define the information needed for a useful quotation.

A useful metal-filter specification answers five questions: what the filter must separate, how it fits the equipment, what loads and chemicals it will see, how it will be cleaned, and how the finished part will be accepted.

A polymer melt screen pack removes unwanted solids or gels from the melt and supports stable operation through the breaker plate or screen changer.
View detailsPractical answers before you send a drawing or request a quotation.
Yes. Send the current drawing when available. For an existing component, include photographs, dimensions and details of its installation interfaces. Missing inputs are clarified before quotation.
Include the component form, material, dimensions, opening or filtration requirement, quantity and operating conditions. Drawings and sample photographs help establish the support, joining and fit requirements.
Stainless steels and other specified alloys are reviewed against the selected mesh, perforated, wedge-wire or sintered construction. Availability and suitability are confirmed for the actual component and service conditions.
Samples or first articles can be included in the quotation. State the quantity, critical checks and approval documents so the sample scope and production basis can be agreed.
Material documents, dimensional records and inspection photographs can be arranged within the confirmed order scope. Specify the required records and any test method in the enquiry.
Material availability, construction complexity, tooling, inspection and quantity affect the minimum order and schedule. Both are confirmed after the project requirements are reviewed.
