A nominal micron claim is not interchangeable with a specified aperture or validated filtration result. Define the medium, test method and acceptance criterion for the duty before comparing woven and sintered options.
Media and construction
Sintered mesh laminates provide a rigid cleanable construction; woven media and multilayer packs can be configured for different handling and pressure requirements. Specify end connections, cleanability and material compatibility with process and cleaning chemicals.
Information for quotation
Share solvent composition, temperature, flow, allowable differential pressure, rating basis, material requirements, interface drawings and documentation scope. If a regulated process needs validation records, agree the tests and traceability requirements in the purchase order.
